What you can expect

Bright Play Days is new, so we are not going to show you review counts we have not earned. Here is what we promise instead — and you can check every one of these against any page on the site.

• Instructions you can follow. Real materials, steps in the order you do them, and an honest note on what tends to go wrong.
• The age, the time and the mess up front. Every activity says who it suits and how long it takes before you scroll, so nothing is a surprise once the glue is out.
• Things you already own. Flour, paper plates, lolly sticks, a cardboard box. If an activity needs a special purchase, it says so at the top.
• Nothing invented. No made-up testimonials, no fake ratings, no visitor numbers we cannot stand behind, and no claims about testing we did not do.
• No guilt. Screen-free ideas, offered without a lecture about screens. Some days the tablet wins and that is nobody's business but yours.
• Free, and no sign-up. Every activity and every printable is readable and printable without an account or an email address.
• Nothing about your child. No accounts, no birthdays, no photos, and no ads aimed at children — read the privacy policy.
