The short version
Some of the links to products on this site are affiliate links. If you buy something after following one, we may receive a small commission from the retailer. You pay exactly the same either way.
What it does not change
It does not change which products we recommend, the order we list them in, or what we say about them. A product that is not good enough does not become good enough because it pays more. Our criteria are set out in How We Choose Products.
How you can tell
Affiliate links are marked where they appear, and product sections carry a disclosure. Links to external commercial partners are tagged so search engines can see the relationship too.
Programmes
Where we take part in retailer affiliate programmes, those relationships are disclosed here as they are added.
Why we do it at all
It pays for hosting, for the time that goes into writing activities properly, and it means the site does not have to be plastered in ads or put its printables behind a paywall.
